Top malls to host exclusive raffles, flash offers and culinary experiences citywide
DUBAI: The summer season in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) just got a lot more exciting with the return of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025.
Set to run from June 27 to August 31, this year’s edition promises to be bigger, better, and more thrilling than ever before. Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the festival spans 66 days of shopping bonanzas, electrifying concerts, culinary adventures, and family entertainment designed to appeal to residents and tourists alike.
With temperatures rising across the UAE, DSS arrives right in time to turn up the heat on entertainment and retail across the city. From mega concerts and culinary feasts to revamped retail zones and daily flash sales, DSS 2025 promises a fresh take on summer festivities in Dubai.
Dubai Summer Surprises 2025
This year, DSS introduces a revamped shopping calendar, segmented into three themed windows that each bring their own set of deals, draws, and activations.
- Summer Holiday Offers (June 27 – July 17): This opening retail phase welcomes early summer shoppers with special mall events and exclusive brand promotions across Dubai’s leading shopping centres.
- The Great Dubai Summer Sale (July 18 – August 10): A mid-summer shopping extravaganza featuring deep discounts and luxury steals across fashion, electronics, beauty and home essentials.
- Back to School (August 11 – 31): Parents and students alike can take advantage of educational supplies, tech gear and wardrobe upgrades just in time for the new academic year.
All three phases will feature daily raffle draws, cash prizes, and live in-mall entertainment to keep visitors engaged throughout the season. The new structure aims to enhance Dubai’s profile as a global shopping and tourism destination.
